Young Living owns its own farms and works with partner farms that must meet the strictest standards. For example, a partner farm in Seville had to submit soil samples for no less than 20 years before it was deemed pure enough to produce for Young Living.

Every final product is not only tested in Young Living's own advanced laboratories but is also thoroughly verified once more by an independent, third-party company.

Seed to Seal

Young Living follows the 'Seed to Seal' policy.

This means they manage every aspect of the production process, from the seed to the sealing of the bottles, entirely in-house. All products are carefully verified by both Young Living and independent third parties.

1. SEED

Powerful and effective essential oils begin with seeds and plants that are carefully selected for their ability to produce high-quality essential oils.

At Young Living, only seeds are used that have been scientifically chosen for their potential to grow plants with the highest possible levels of bioactive compounds.

2. CULTIVATE

Through cultivation on its eight farms, Young Living has developed deep expertise in producing pure and powerful essential oils.

This knowledge is shared with partner farms around the world that follow the same Seed to Seal principles, ensuring that all growing processes meet Young Living's strict quality standards.

3. DISTILLATION

Young Living uses a combination of traditional and modern distillation techniques. This process takes place at low pressure and low temperatures in order to preserve the beneficial plant compounds of each harvested batch during the first and only

distillation cycle.

4. TESTING

Every essential oil from Young Living undergoes strict testing to ensure it contains the optimal bioactive natural compounds.

These tests are carried out in Young Living's own in-house laboratories and are complemented by additional third-party testing.
